I'm moving out of my B4RN-enabled property

You have a B4RN service at your present property and are moving out.

In all cases, when vacating your property, please leave the B4RN router in place and powered on so we can remotely reconfigure your router to ensure no information, such as connected devices and personal passwords, remain on the device.

We'd also be grateful if you could inform the next occupant that a B4RN service is already installed at the property. All they need to do is complete a service request at https://b4rn.org.uk/get-b4rn at least a week before moving in.

The following scenarios should answer your question.

Moving to an area without B4RN

  • Simply go to our "I wish to close my account" form and complete it in full making sure you give us your full address, the reason for closure and the date you wish your B4RN service to cease. We'll be sorry to see you go!

Moving to a property that has an existing B4RN service

  • Go to our "I wish to close my account" form and complete it in full making sure you give us your full address, the reason for closure and the date you wish your B4RN service to cease.
  • Visit our Get B4RN page and complete a service request for your new home. Our connections team will email out a contract for you to complete and return to us.

Moving to a property that doesn't yet have B4RN but is in a B4RN service area

  • Go to our "I wish to close my account" form and complete it in full making sure you give us your full address, the reason for closure and the date you wish your B4RN service to cease.
  • Visit our Get B4RN page and complete a service request for your new home. Our Engagement and Connections team will be in touch to assess what works are required to bring you live service.

Note that we normally require 30 days advance notice for account closures. If there are any amounts outstanding from the initial connection fee, these will be payable in full on account closure.
